I used to be so angry, thinking I’d never lose weight… I was drowning in food, says Fergie
Similarly, a body with poor diet will be difficult to not only operate, but to change for the better. Years of bad eating habits have been known to promote certain diseases and make it easier as we age to break bones, gain weight, and stop important hormones in our bodies from regulating and working properly. Naturally, we then turn to medicine and drugs with millions of side effects to cover the problem and possibly create a new one Unfortunately, you cannot out-exercise a bad diet. I used to be guilty of saying Ill just work off this pizza and Coke later when I go for a run, and not only did meals like that make me feel bloated, weighed down and too tired to work out later, but even if I did make it to the gym that day, it would literally take hours to burn off the calories I just ate and I definitely would not want to spend more than an hour or two at the gym (much less, running for that long!) Sure, there are people who have thin frames and it seems like all they eat is crap, drink soda all day and it doesnt seem fair, but dont go and pat them on the back just yet. Theres a huge difference in having skinny fat and being skinny fit.

How to Lose Weight
Anything that sounds too restrictive or not nutritionally sound is not the way to go. Find a way of eating that can be sustained for the rest of your life, where you eat healthy most of the time and allow for occasional splurges. The second realization is that you can’t go back to your old habits once the weight melts away. If you gained weight chomping on half a dozen donuts each morning, you can bet your sweet new buns that you’ll gain the weight back if you head to that bakery shop once the scale says what you want it to. Be patient and remember why you’re doing it: Just as those pounds slowly crept on, losing weight the right way takes time, which means dropping about a pound or two a week.
